Emeritus Vineyards Hallberg Ranch Elite 2018

Our ‘Elite’ is a special field selection from a highly prized Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy. This wine is made exclusively from selected rows of a single block on the crest of a hill at the Hallberg Ranch. Wine lives up to its exceptional pedigree, it is a beautifully succulent and dynamic wine that delights with its fascinating aromas of tart cherry, papaya, pastry dough, and sour plum. On the palate, a nectar-like quality mingles with lovely umami and spice notes, with supple, fine-grained tannins and hints of yeasty lees, salted fruit, pluots and sweet cinnamon lingering on the finish.
