Description
Lot 1 is the top blend from Louis M. Martini and has been made since 1952. Deep garnet-purple coloured, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 1 has a nose of crème de cassis, chocolate box, cedar chest, bay leaves, Chinese five spice and menthol with a hint of charcuterie. Medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with a bit of chewiness, it's spicy with appealing freshness, finishing layered and very long.
