Donum Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2021

INTRODUCTION The Winside Vineyard is our second, smallest Estate vineyard located in the heart of the Russian River Valley AVA. Planted in 99, Winside features 4 acres of Pinot Noir planted to different clones. The Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend from across these blocks each is fermented separately in open-top stainless steel tanks and then undergoes secondary fermentation in French oak barrels. After months of aging, we assemble the final blend from the finest barrels for each parcel. WINEMAKER NOTES Deep ruby with a purple core, the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir exhibits notes of plum, blackberry, roasted meat and toasted oak on the nose. The palate is broad and structured, with black cherry, vanilla bean and white pepper. Finishing long and smooth, with currant and baking spice lingering. Drink from -.
